ARE VISA’S REQUIRED FOR TRAVEL TO BHUTAN?

Yes all foreigners need Bhutan Visa .  Citizens of SARCC do need Visa . After you booked your tour with one of the Tourism Council of Bhutan certified tour operators they will apply for visa and send you Visa copy for your safe travel to Bhutan.

DO I NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE IN BHUTAN

It advisable to have travel insurance on yourself and all you expensive belongings.

WHAT IS THE INTERNET ACCESS LIKE IN BHUTAN

Internet access is good in most if cities like Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Wangdue, Trongsa, Bumthang. That’s the furthest most tourist go. And local sim card is easily arranged by the tour operators with a photocopy of your passport.

WHAT IS THE PHONE/MOBILE COVERAGE LIKE IN BHUTAN

It is good, almost all Bhutanese use mobil phones.

ARE THERE ATMS IN BHUTAN

Yes there are ATMs in Bhutan. The only problems you face is when there are network failures but that’s occasional.

You can’t drink from the taps but bottled water is readily available.

HOW MUCH TOILET PAPER DO I NEED TO BRING?

Hotels have toilet papers in their bathrooms. You can buy them in most stores but use responsibly as Bhutan too have trash problems.

SHOULD I JUST BRING A SMALL CARRY ON BAG?

Of course to pack your things and cloths.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE. WILL I NEED A WOOL SWEATER?

You are coming from warmer regions, packing wool sweater and layers are a must as Bhutan cool most of the time.
